Photography, particularly coastal photography, has always been a passion. The changing face of sea and sky provide never-ending opportunities to capture a variety of moods. You will find many, varied examples of Marg's work showcased here on the site, and there are plenty more where they came from! Marg began to explore her fascination with photography as a child, experimenting with her father's Box Brownie camera. Athletics, however, took most of her attention during her formative years, culminating with her becoming Australian Shot Put Champion and a 1956 Olympian. Once she retired from athletics in 1962, she began to travel, and re-discovered her love of photography. With images taken from as far afield as Ireland, Canada, Egypt, the Sudan, Scotland, England and most of Europe, Marg emassed a large collection of high-quality photos, which are now being transferred from slides to paper and pixels. However, her passion for the medium of photography really took hold when she moved to Southern Victoria. After several months of taking images of the breathtaking sunsets and seascapes around her (and many sales of those photos), she created Coastscapes Victoria - a business dedicated to capturing the beauty and majesty of the coastscapes of Victoria. When Marg is not out with her camera, she runs a special events company called Emjay Projects, which is another great passion. She also serves on many committees and is a member of the first Sports First Aid Unit in Australia. All the photos you see on the site are available via our online store and are presented as yearly calenders, postcards, cards or framed photos ranging from 6" x 4" to poster size.
